How to Set up Automatic Email Reply in Gmail

Setting up your Gmail to reply your mailers with an automated response to incoming messages is called "Vacation responder".

These features make your Gmail official, thus by sending an auto response when you are off from work, out of office, or on holiday.

This auto reply is been set by you, thus whatever message you write in your Vacation responder is what the get. If a contact sends you several messages, this automated reply will be sent at most once every 4 days.

Steps on How to Set up Automatic Email Reply in Gmail

Step 1: Log in to your Gmail account.

Step 2: In the top right-hand side (below the Google notification icon), Click on Settings.


Step 3: In the drop-down menu, Click on Settings.


Step 4: Now, in the Settings, scroll down to Vacation responder. Enable by selecting Vacation responder on.

Step 5: Write your message (the automatic response to incoming messages) on the blank box provided.

Step 6: After writing, click on Save Changes.


Congratulations! You have successfully setup automatic email reply in Gmail.
